May 27th

Mention Paris to most people and you'll get a rude waiter story; Aaron's is that he was 10, and a sneering Monsieur brought him wine instead of the milk he had ordered, because milk 'ees for babies', thus the beginning.

Mr. Pott as I am sure he would hate to be called, has made wine all over the world, doing a stint as winemaker for Berenger where he made wines in france, under the tutelage of Jean-Louis Mandreau (wine-maker at Chateau Latour), Italy, Chile and now back here in Beautiful Napa CA. Aaron took over as winemaker at St.Clement in 2001, then in 2004 moved to Quintessa as GM and winemaker, where Grace and I got to visit him and witness his process. Since 2004 Aaron has been cultivating 76 acres in Mt. Veeder and producing some of Napas most spectacular wines under his moniker Pott Wines. He is set to visit Rocco's Room May 27th and the evening promises to be an eclectic journey through the life and wine of a truly singular eclectic man.

Limited Seating Available. Call for reservations.
